I provide guitar lessons for adults who are complete beginners or looking to return to playing after some time away. We’ll go from one-finger chords all the way to learning your favourite songs, and writing your own.

I've been playing guitar for over 28 years and performing professionally since 2017. Along the way, I've learned what you actually need to know to play confidently, whether you're playing at home or eventually want to perform yourself.

I focus on building your guitar knowledge from the basics, starting with chords and scales and introducing music theory as you need it. Rather than learning theory separately from playing, you'll understand why the chords work while you're learning to play them.

We’ll cover…

• Chords and chord changes

• Strumming and rhythm

• Fingerstyle techniques

• Chord theory and how chords fit together

Relaxed lessons at your pace. No music reading. No exams.

Online or in your home (North Derbyshire/North Nottinghamshire). Acoustic or electric guitar.

Prices from £30 for a 50-minute lesson.
